COACHES & FITNESS PROFESSIONALS

At CEDAR, we are passionate about supporting coaches and fitness professionals to feel more confident, informed, and compassionate in their work with the people they train.

Many coaches tell us they are often the first to notice that something has changed, in how someone eats, how they train, or how they talk about their body. What they are less sure about is whether it is their place to say anything, and what to say if it is.

Whether you work with athletes, with general population clients, or with young people in sport, our goal is to help you build a space where training and wellbeing are not in competition, and to know what to do when you are worried about someone.

What is CoachED.png

Because, let's be honest...

  • Eating disorder rates are rising, and conscientious, caring professionals like you want to help but haven't received the education to support your students, clients, and athletes.

  • Eating disorders hide in plain sight, despite having devastating consequences in your community.

  • Health, fitness, and education settings can inadvertently cause harm.

  • Weight-centric paradigms of health are outdated, but refuse to go away.

  • You want to stand out as a trusted professional in your field, where your club, class, and clinic culture is known as the ‘go-to’ space for inclusive fitness and person-centered care.

  • You are a leader; you care about social issues and how the world impacts your community.

  • You want clarity. The health and fitness industries have changed immensely in the past 5 years, and the next 5 will likely amplify those changes.
